About Sis Got Tea
Who are you? What is Sis Got Tea?
Sis Got Tea is Louisville, KY's, Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, woman-owned tea business. We serve the community as a safe, sober, social space and tea cafe. We have all kinds of tea blends and merch, and we also have a cozy seating area for you to sip tea, chat with friends, and even host an event or two.
We also host events for the community. We focus on LGBTQ-themed and Black-themed events, and they're always sober. From poetry slams, to drag shows, to workshops, we host any event that we can.
Why so much emphasis on being Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and woman-owned?
It's important for us to emphasize that because historically, Black folks, LGBTQ folks, and women have really struggled to own businesses due to systemic barriers. As a Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, woman-owned business, we have faced a multitude of barriers that other businesses haven't faced.
Stating that we're Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and woman-owned is a statement of pride. Despite all of the adversities we've faced, we made this business. We've made it this far. And for some Black folks, LGBTQ folks, and women, knowing that our business is Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and woman-owned is inspiring.

Sunday: 11 AM - 5 PM
Wednesday: 10 AM - 8 PM
Thursday: 10 AM - 8 PM
Friday: 10 AM - 8 PM
Saturday: 11 AM - 9 PM
Do you offer local pickup?
Not yet, but we are looking into it. Hoping to implement by the end of Summer 2023.
How long do orders take to ship?
Orders take 5-7 business days to ship. Once shipped, it usually takes about 1-3 days.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $7 for the entire US.
Do you offer faster shipping times?
Not at this time.

How do I know when events are happening?
We keep folks updated about our events via Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to follow our social pages. We are also working on putting a calendar on our website where we will post events.
How can I host an event in your space?
Contact us via our Contact Form. Let us know when you want to have an event and what the event is. We will work with you on scheduling.
How much does it cost to host an event at your cafe?
Cost is dependent on the event, including timing, length, and scheduled date.
Are you hiring?

Do you offer wholesale/business-to-business sales and discounts?

I want a custom tea created for my business/organization/event/etc. Do you all do that?
We do! We've made teas for weddings, retreats, businesses, and more. Contact us using our Contact Form. Let us know what the tea is for and what your ideas are, and we're happy to work with you. Please note that there is a minimum $50 charge for creating custom teas.
I'm not Black/LGBTQ+. Can I still come to the cafe and/or attend events?
Absolutely. All are welcome in our cafe and at our events. Respect the space, and respect the identities of those around.
I'd love to do a story/schedule an interview/do a media piece. Who can I talk to?
